Videos requested via Motive Dashcams are received within a few minutes. If the video request takes multiple hours to complete, it's typically because:
- The Vehicle Gateway is connected to a light duty vehicle and the engine is powered off.
- The Vehicle Gateway is connected to a heavy duty vehicle and the engine has been powered off for longer than 24 hours.
- The location doesn’t have an active cellular connection.
| Note: To get your requested video faster, make sure your Vehicle Gateway is connected to a stable cellular network. For light duty vehicles, the engine should be running to retrieve the videos successfully. For heavy duty vehicles, videos may successfully upload up to 24 hours after the engine has been powered off. |
