Introduction
When editing driver logs, manual drive time cannot be added directly adjacent to ELD-recorded driving time. Attempting to do so results in the following error:
"Manual driving time can't be adjacent to vehicle gateway recorded driving time."
Resolution
To resolve this, the Fleet Admin or Driver can insert a brief gap (1 minute) at the start and there must be a clear separation (e.g., on-duty, off-duty, or sleeper berth status) between manual and ELD-recorded driving events. This creates the necessary separation, allowing manual driving time to be added without conflicting with ELD-recorded events.
