Introduction
If the Asset Gateway Mini has never been activated or has been reset to "ship mode," activation is required before use. Follow these steps to ensure the device is set up and ready to track assets.
Steps: Activating/Turning on my Asset Gateway Mini
1. Locate the reset button on the side of the device, marked with a reset pin logo.
2. Use the reset pin (included in the box) to press the reset button once, then release it.
3. The LED will blink blue a few times, indicating the device is turning on and attempting to establish an LTE connection with the nearest cell tower.
4. The device will take a couple of minutes to finish setting up, and once it’s done, you can check your asset on the Motive Fleet Dashboard to get an updated location.
