How to enable the Comdata® Enhanced Authorization Controls Integration

    Introduction

    Comdata® Enhanced Authorization Controls (a.k.a Comdata® Proximity) fights fraud with geolocation matching to determine if the fuel card is being used on the right vehicle.

     

    Integration Benefits

    • Enhanced Authorization Controls (EAC) fights fraud with geolocation matching to determine if the fuel card is being used on the right vehicle.
    • It verifies if the Vehicles are actually at the pump for the point-of-purchase
    • EAC validates that the Tank capacity matches the number of gallons pumped
    • Eliminate fraud by turning on controls, which can restrict the quantity of fuel purchase or decline based on your system parameters.
    • Receive alerts when a fueled vehicle is above the predefined percentage of a fuel tank’s capacity.
    • Access streamlined reporting on the evaluation of a transaction by Enhanced Authorization Controls. 

    System Requirements

    Comdata®

    • Must have an active fuel integration with Comdata® to subscribe to this feature.

    Motive

    • Starter, Pro, or Enterprise subscription plan

     

    Steps: Enabling Comdata® Enhanced Authorization Controls integration with Motive App Marketplace

    1. Click Get this App.
    2. Since the integration is built on API Keys, the integration involves the API support team to authenticate the installation and share a private API key. 
    3. This integration is set up from the Comdata® system using API key. Contact Motive to get an API key.
    4. Share the API Key with Comdata® POC.
    5. Further onboarding and mapping will be done on Comdata® end
