    AI Dashcam Plus Battery Backup

AI Dashcam Plus is equipped with a battery. If the battery is fully charged before a microcut or cable damage occurs, the Dashcam can continue recording for 1-5 minutes. The specific recording time depends on the battery's charging status and integrity within the AI Dashcam Plus at the time of the incident.

    Mounting Best Practices

    • Clean the windshield with the provided alcohol wipes and allow the windshield to dry before adhering the camera.
    • When adhering the camera to the windshield, press and hold it firmly for 10-20 seconds.
    • Don’t mount the camera in tinted areas of the windshield.
    • Lower sun visors are necessary to ensure they don’t obstruct the Driver's view of the inward-facing camera. If installing a road-facing-only camera, this doesn’t apply.
    • Ensure the rearview mirror is fully operational and doesn’t obstruct the Driver's inward-facing camera view. If installing a road-facing-only camera, this doesn’t apply.
    • Don’t install a camera on a severely cracked windshield without the customer’s consent.
Note: If the issue persists after following the steps above, please contact Motive support for further assistance.
