Edit Collision Point of Contact in Collision Reports

Audience Fleet Admins, Fleet Manager
Applies To Fleet Dashboard > Reports

Release Date

June 17th, 2025

Introduction

Fleet Admins can now directly manage the Point of Contact information displayed on Collision PDF reports, providing greater control and accuracy for critical stakeholder communication.

What’s New?

Motive has added a self-serve option in the Motive Dashboard that allows Safety and Fleet Admins to add or edit Collision Point of Contact information at the company level. Previously, only Motive’s support team could update this information. Now, fleets can select an existing Fleet User or create a Custom Contact by providing a Name, Role, Email, and Phone number in the Collision tab.

How does this help our customers?

  • Enabling self-service: Fleet Admins no longer rely on Motive’s support team to update vital contact information, saving time and streamlining operations.
  • Improving data accuracy: Customers ensure that collision reports always reflect the most accurate and up-to-date Point of Contact, facilitating faster and more effective communication with external stakeholders, such as insurance partners and law enforcement.
  • Boosting efficiency: Reduced support requests allow Fleet Managers to focus on core safety operations

Rollout Plan or Feature Go-Live date?

This feature is available to Motive customers as of June 17, 2025.
