Introduction
We are updating the content of Safety Event alert emails to provide clearer, more actionable information to fleet managers. This enhancement ensures that the alerts reflect the precise thresholds that triggered the event, rather than generic severity definitions.
What’s New?
Safety Event alert emails for single events (excluding summary alerts and SMS alerts) will now display the actual event detection threshold specific to the vehicle at the time the event occurred. Previously, these emails showed severity definitions (e.g., "20 mph for 'High Severity'").

| Note: The event detection threshold may apply as a result of company-level settings, group-level overrides, or vehicle-level settings. |
How does this help our customers?
This enhancement provides fleet managers with precise and actionable insights into safety events.
- By displaying the exact thresholds that triggered an alert, managers can more effectively understand driver behavior, conduct targeted coaching, and improve overall fleet safety.
- This change eliminates the confusion caused by generic severity definitions, enabling clearer decision-making and more efficient safety management.
