Introduction
Motive has launched Virtual Cards for fleet users, enabling better control and flexibility in spend management for fleets, especially for their vendor payments or payments done online.
What’s New?
- Fleet admins can create virtual cards and assign them to fleet users.
- Similar to physical cards, these virtual cards can be assigned a spend profile and can be assigned a custom Card ID through the Fleet Dashboard.
- Additionally, fleet admins can also set up auto-deactivation rules for these cards based on the maximum no. of transactions, Max total spend, or a specific date.
- Users/cardholders will need to go through two-factor authentication to view card details and transactions, providing greater security.
- Virtual Cards can be generated and used without incurring an additional monthly fee.
How does this help our customers?
This feature adds another layer of safety for fleets that use recurring or one-time online transactions, while providing the flexibility of generating and assigning a Virtual Card from the Fleet Dashboard instantaneously.
