Motive Card integration with Vista (by Trimble Viewpoint)

Viewpoint Vista by Trimble is a construction ERP platform that manages financial operations, project accounting, job costing, and payroll. The Motive Card integration sends fuel purchase data directly to Vista’s Equipment Module, helping automate fuel cost capture, associate expenses with the correct equipment, and streamline financial reporting.

Integration Requirements

• Subscription: No additional subscription is required.
• Environment access:
  • Cloud Vista: Vista Support access is required.
  • On-premises Vista: The customer must have Vista Administrator and SQL access.
• Service user: Create a Vista service user with the appropriate permissions.
• Credentials: Provide the Vista server name, database name, username, and password.
• Attachment database: If attachments use a separate database, authorize the service user on that database as well.
• AppXchange Agent: Install the AppXchange Agent on the customer’s Vista instance.

Integration steps in Motive

Note: Click the Install button on the Motive Card integration for Viewpoint Vista app in the Motive Marketplace.

If you are on the Motive Fleet Dashboard, take the following steps:

1. On the left menu, click Marketplace.
2. Search for Motive Card integration for Viewpoint Vista.
3. Click Learn More on the Motive Card integration for Viewpoint Vista tile.
   
4. Click Install.
   

The system will now generate a case for API Support. API Support then creates a Professional Services request and routes it to the Partnership Ecosystem team. The team schedules a scoping or kickoff call, after which the enablement process begins.
