How to enabled DispatchPilot integration

DispatchPilot is a cloud transportation management platform for small and mid-sized trucking fleets. The Motive integration securely connects a fleet administrator's Motive account through OAuth and brings read-only driver, vehicle, location, HOS, fault-code, inspection, IFTA, trip, dispatch, and asset data into DispatchPilot. Dispatchers use this data to see current vehicle and driver status, evaluate available driving hours before assigning loads, monitor fleet health, improve ETA and compliance decisions, and reduce manual check calls. Access is tenant-isolated, tokens are encrypted at rest, and a fleet administrator can disconnect Motive at any time.

By connecting authorised vehicle, location, and hours-of-service data from Motive, DispatchPilot surfaces exceptions sooner, reduces repetitive check-ins, and gives dispatchers more time for the decisions that keep trucks moving. Less busywork means faster responses, better use of your team, and lower operating costs — without replacing the Motive tools you already trust.

Key Benefits

  • Fewer Manual Check-Ins: Live Motive locations answer "where are you?" automatically, ending the phone-and-text chase.

  • Exceptions Surfaced Sooner:  Real Motive activity is compared against load plans to flag delays early.

  • HOS-Aware Dispatching: Loads go only to drivers with the hours to legally complete them.

  • One Workspace:  Motive vehicle, driver, and asset data sits beside loads and trips, with no tab-switching.

  • Lower Operating Costs:  Less busywork and faster responses, plus IFTA trip data to simplify fuel-tax reporting.

Integration steps in Motive

Note: Click the Install button on the DispatchPilot's app in the .
If you are on the Motive Fleet Dashboard, take the following steps:

  1. On the left menu, click Marketplace.
  2. Search for DispatchPilot in the search bar.
  3. Click Learn More on the DispatchPilot's tile.
  4. Click Install.
The system will now generate a case for API Support. API Support then creates a Professional Services request and routes it to the Partnership Ecosystem team. The team schedules a scoping or kickoff call, after which the enablement process begins.
