Introduction

Integrated Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) give fleets a streamlined way to request, review, and maintain Motor Vehicle Records directly within Motive. This eliminates manual interactions with state DMVs and reduces the time and effort required to keep Driver Qualification (DQ) files up to date.

 

What’s New?

This release introduces a fully integrated MVR workflow that simplifies how fleets maintain one of their most important DQ documents. Key features include:

  • A consolidated MVR experience within Workforce > Qualifications, where fleet admins can request MVRs for one or multiple drivers, monitor order statuses, and access completed records. 
  • Each fulfilled MVR is automatically added to the driver’s DQ file with parsed details such as violations, convictions, and license status.
  • Access and review MVR reports, including violations, convictions, and license status.
  • Have MVR PDFs and expiration dates automatically added to the driver’s DQ File.
  • Complete required annual reviews within Motive, including adding digital review notes.
  • View usage and billing reports tied to MVR requests.

Notes:

  • Fleet admins must enable the Import MVR permission for the relevant roles in the Fleet Dashboard before requesting MVRs.
  • Fleets with drivers in Pennsylvania or Utah must provide the PA state access code and Utah Organization ID as required by state regulations.
  • Fleet users should double-check driver details when submitting an MVR request to avoid failures in retrieving records from state systems.
