US 60/70 Hours Cycle Limit Violation

Symptom(s):

Driver receives a US 60/70-hour cycle limit violation

 

Cause:

When drivers go On Duty over the limit of 60 hours in a seven-day period or 70 hours in an eight-day period.

 

Solution:

A driver may restart a new seven- or eight-day period after they’ve taken at least 34 consecutive hours off duty.
