Temporary overrides for Spend & Security Controls allow Fleet Admins and Fleet Managers to make temporary adjustments without modifying existing Spend profiles.
Overview
This feature helps Fleet Managers by:
- Saving time by eliminating the need to create new Spend profiles for one-time exceptions.
- Allowing planning by scheduling overrides for future needs.
- Ensuring uninterrupted Card usage in low-network areas by allowing the temporary disablement of Mobile Unlock.
Temporary overrides for Spend & Security Controls Overview
- Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard go to Cards > Cards.
- Select the Card to add a temporary override.
- Click Add temporary override to set the override for a specific period or schedule it for later.
- Overrides can be set for a specific duration (for example, 30 minutes or 1 hour) or scheduled for future needs.
- Fleets can temporarily adjust Spend and security controls for individual Cards.
- In low-network situations, Mobile Unlock can be temporarily disabled to ensure seamless transactions.
- Controls can be modified or reset as needed. Click Save.
