Fleet Admins can turn on the trip images feature to take pictures at each engine start/stop automatically and every 10 minutes during the trip. Dashcams capture these images, helping you check the camera's view and ensure it is installed correctly.
Enabling Trip Images
1. Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click Admin in the left side menu.
2. From the panel on the left-hand side, select Safety.
3. Click Edit for Dashcam.
4. Click Capture trip images every 10 minutes.
5. Click Save.
FAQ
What causes the Image refresh limit exceeded error when refreshing dashcam images?
- The default setting for dashcam image requests is 100 per day. Fleet admins can request 100 images after 24 Hours.
- This limit can be increased, but is not recommended as it would impact the data consumption of the Vehicle Gateway.
