    Summary

The Summary section on the driver’s profile provides an overview of the Distance driven by the driver, Drive Time, Events and Collisions. These metrics can be filtered using Last Week, Last 4 Weeks and Last 12 Weeks filters. Here are the details of every element you see on the Summary section:

    Total Driving

Displays miles or km driven for the time period selected. Below, you can find the amount of hours driven for the time period selected.

    Events

Displays the count of the safety events generated in the time period selected. Below, you can find the count of behavior occurrences generated in the time period selected (for example: 1 event can have 2 behaviors (cell phone and close following), which would equate to 2 unsafe behaviors).

    Speeding

Displays the percentage of drive time spent speeding over the posted speed limit based on the speeding thresholds set by the fleet manager for the time period selected. Below, you can find the total amount of time spent speeding for the time period selected.

Note: Motive generates a speeding event when the vehicle has driven 10 mph over the posted speed limit for more than 10 minutes.

    Collisions

Displays the count of collisions detected for this driver during the selected time period. Below, you can find the count of near collisions detected for the selected time period.
